According to the directive of President Ilham Aliyev, a mosque resembling the Shusha Mosque was constructed in the village of Jojug Marjanli. In June 2017, the head of state reviewed the conditions created in the mosque.

Built on an area of 0.5 hectares, the mosque in Jojug Marjanli features minarets that are 26 meters high. As a replica of the historic Shusha Mosque, one of the rare pearls of Azerbaijani and Eastern architecture, this mosque offers all the necessary conditions for believers.
