The centre was built in 2013 on the territory of the Holy Myrrh-Bearers Cathedral in Baku on the instructions of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The four-storey center has a worship room and other facilities, including conference and seminar rooms and Sunday school classrooms.
