The Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Saint Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican signed an agreement in February 2019 on financial support for restoring graves beneath the basilica and bas-reliefs. The agreement was the initiative of Mehriban Aliyeva, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
