Located in the Shamakhy district, the Pirsaat Baba Sanctuary-mosque complex was reconstructed on the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and a new mosque was built here.

In the aftermath of the earthquake that occurred in Shamakhy in 2019, cracks formed in the walls of the sanctuary. Restoration and repair work and construction of a new mosque building started here in 2020. Along with the praying room, rooms for ceremonies also were created in the mosque building.

Extensive construction and greenery-planting Works were carried out around the sanctuary-mosque complex.
